The David and Lucile Packard Foundation and the Grove Foundation convened grantmakers to discuss philanthropic strategies for addressing the San Francisco Bay Area’s housing crisis.

They brought in csb philanthropic solutions to design the convenings, develop grantmaker educational materials, and identify opportunities for philanthropic investment. The resulting report, Affordable Housing in Silicon Valley:  Philanthropic Activity & Opportunities, and accompanying county-by-county two-page fact sheets, have since been used by numerous Bay Area foundations to inform their giving strategies.
